FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

MN Original

The newly regrouped Willie Wisely Trio, as part of the release of their first album in 18 years, is set to pre-record their live performance on Twin Cities Public Television’s acclaimed MN Original show. All four original members of the WW3, including Peter Anderson (drums), James Voss (upright bass), Willie Wisely (guitar/vocals) and Greg Wold (Trombone), will play two new songs from they’re long-anticipated album “True,” available directly to fans in February at: www.EVOCativePOP.com/.

Not since August 1992 has the original group performed on TV together––at the now defunct Continental Cable in St. Paul, MN. Upon viewing the twenty-year-old footage, recently discovered on an unmarked U-matic videocassette, Wold spoke for the band, “We were so passionate. It’s amazing that there is no recollection of playing this show.”

On the contrary, the WW3’s return to television will be very memorable, as the group performs the careening “Kiss Her And Make It Right” and audience favorite “National Council of Jewish Womens Thrift Store”, a song that Wisely wrote with comedian Andy Dick.

Broadcast dates are to be announced.
